Celebrating 40 Years of Ashbourne Badminton
A big thank you to all those who joined us in our 40th anniversary celebration on 11th October 2013.
A great night was had by all with lots of fun and laughter, and over 60 prizes won. Congrats to Steve Cassidy and Brid Carr who we were proud to present an honourable life members certificate for their continuing, and outstanding long term contribution to our badminton club.
Their services are appreciated and valued!
Also, a big thanks to the local businesses in Ashbourne for all the spot prizes on the night, a list of all the contributes can be found on our website.
Last, but not least, thanks to our committee for all their hard work in making the night such a success. MC Andrew on the mic for the night, Lilian and Caitriona for keeping scores, Anita and Marian for collection sheets. A tremendous amount of work went in to organising the event, thanks to Gra, Caitriona and Anita for spending many hours organising and collecting the many spot prizes. Anita, Lilian and Veronica for all the paper work and printing, Clare and the committee for decorating the room on the night and all the members donated spot prizes!
